By using Roasted Robot you agree to these terms. Last updated 2026-10-18. This is not legal advice.
As-is
Roasted Robot is provided as-is, without warranties. Menus, prices, filters, and scores can be wrong.
Allergens
The Limits page is part of these terms. Roasted Robot is not medical advice and not a safety system. Roasted Robot cannot guarantee a meal is free of any allergen. Menus, recipes, and labels change, and kitchens share equipment. Confirm every package and tell the kitchen.
Tips
Tips are voluntary. They do not buy warranties, allergen verification, medical or safety advice, priority “safer” results, or affiliation with any restaurant or grocer. The app remains as-is under these Terms. Refunds follow the Stripe Payment Link settings the operator chooses. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Paid downloads
What you buy
Paid downloads are digital recipe products sold by Roasted Robot (for example a recipe card or PDF). You buy access to that digital file as described on the product page at checkout. Delivery is digital (download and/or on-site access), not a physical shipment and not a live cooking service.
What the price does not buy
The price is for the recipe file only. It does not buy allergen verification, medical or dietary advice, a guarantee that any ingredient is safe for your household, priority or “safer” Limits results, food-safety certification, or affiliation with any brand, restaurant, or grocer. Limits and Allergens sections of these Terms still apply in full. Roasted Robot remains as-is under these Terms.
License
Unless the product page says otherwise, your license is personal and non-commercial. You may cook from the recipe at home. You may not republish, resell, share the paid file, upload it to a public library, or use it to train or fill a recipe dataset. Roasted Robot keeps all rights in the text and related product materials.
Personal/household transfer of a file you exported for your own devices does not change the ban on public republishing, resale, or uploading paid files to a public library.
Refunds (digital downloads)
Digital recipe downloads are delivered (or made available) promptly after payment. All sales are final once the file has been delivered or unlocked for you, except where a mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
If payment succeeded but you never received access or the download failed, contact us through Feedback (or the brand email listed on the site) within 7 days of purchase with your order or receipt details. We will re-send access or refund that charge when we confirm non-delivery.
Chargebacks for delivered files may result in loss of future purchase access. Tips (voluntary) are separate; tip refunds follow the Tips section and Stripe settings for tips. Paid-download refunds follow this section and the Stripe settings the operator sets for paid products.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cook responsibility
You are responsible for reading package labels, handling and cooking food safely, and deciding what is safe for your household. Recipes are home-cooking instructions, not medical advice and not a food-safety course.
AI menus
Menus are AI estimates of public dishes, not official venue menus and not a live scrape. Confirm with the venue before you order.
Score My Plate
Score My Plate is for fun. It rates how a food photo looks, not taste, doneness, nutrition or food safety. Use a food thermometer and safe food-handling guidance. Your photo is sent to our AI provider to make the score; see Privacy.
Spots
Spots and menu items help you discover places and dishes that may fit your kitchen filters. They are AI estimates and discover tools, not cookbooks and not official venue menus. Confirm with the venue before you order.
Roasted Robot does not sell restaurant recipes, “how to order” instructions, or recipe-card downloads from Spots or menu items. Paid digital recipe cards, when offered, are Roasted Robot home-cook products sold only from kitchen flows (for example Scan or Build) and are governed by the Paid downloads section. Place and dish names identify locations and foods only — see Brands.
Tips remain voluntary and separate (see Tips).
Your uploads
Photos and pastes you submit are sent to Roasted Robot so we can write your list, steps, or score. A copy of that scan (including the photo) is kept on this device with your Saved recipes until you clear site data or remove the item. Favorites and kitchen settings also stay on this device. Roasted Robot does not run a public photo gallery of user uploads. Use Feedback to ask about server-side deletion. Do not republish meal-kit cards (see Acceptable use).
Contribute recipes (optional)
Ordinary Scan and Score uploads are governed by Your uploads above (process that request; copy on this device; no public gallery).
If you use Contribute this recipe, you ask Roasted Robot to keep a copy of the recipe text (and photo only if that screen includes one) for internal review and product improvement. You agree we may store that copy in our brand inbox and operator working notes for that purpose. We do not, under this section, license your contribution for display to other users, for a public library, or for sale as a Roasted Robot paid download. A later “share with others” feature would need updated Terms and a separate in-app consent.
You represent that you own the contributed material or have permission to share it, and that it is not a meal-kit recipe card, a restaurant’s proprietary recipe sheet, scraped grocer content, or anyone else’s copyrighted recipe you are not allowed to share. Do not contribute workplace or employer-confidential photos or documents.
We may refuse or delete any contribution. For deletion or IP concerns, use Feedback (see IP / takedown). Contribution retention follows Privacy — Contribute recipes.
Saved export & import
Saved recipes live on your device. Optional Share, Copy, or file export lets you move a copy to another device you choose (including handing the file to someone in your household). That is not a Roasted Robot account, cloud backup, or multi-user login.
Import only adds local copies on the receiving device. Importing a file does not unlock paid downloads you have not purchased (or that the operator has not unlocked for an operator account). Paid downloads remain governed by the Paid downloads section — including the personal license and the rule against republishing or redistributing the paid file publicly.
Do not use export/import to build a public recipe library, to circulate meal-kit cards, or to bypass payment. Acceptable use and IP / takedown still apply.
Exported files are for your own devices and household. Don't use them to republish, sell, or build a public recipe library.
Brands
Names identify places and foods only. Roasted Robot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with those brands.
Acceptable use
Use Roasted Robot for personal cooking. Do not republish meal-kit cards. Do not scrape grocer or restaurant systems. Do not use Contribute to submit meal-kit cards, restaurant proprietary recipes, or scrapes of grocer or restaurant systems.
IP / takedown
Send Feedback with details. We review and remove or disable material where appropriate.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roasted Robot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from use, including food choices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides.
